  • We are hiring a Head of Sales Department for a company operating in the field of industrial automation and robotics in Trnava region. Successful candidate must have 10+ years of experience in the same/similar position, or 15+ years of experience in sales. We are looking for an experienced, qualified and high-energy Head of Sales Department who will be self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales in the automotive field. The role demands a sales professional with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales manager to create and maintain a high-performing sales force. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition, revenue growth objectives, motivating sales team, designing strategic sales plans, assessing costs and competition and with the ultimate goal to accelerate profitable growth.
  • Responsibilities
  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets (both on Revenues and Gross Margins)
  • Manage Sales Team (4-member team for now) and hence Overall Sales Process (from Acquisition to Contracts / Invoicing)
  • Coach and improve Sales team to reach expected performances and future long term goals
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure company’s executives are informed on the progress of those goals
  • Drive team to achieve global and individual goals
  • Generate Leads and Increase Win Rates
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Follow Major Clients to create proximity hence complete awareness of client’s current & future needs creating on-going additional work potentials
  • Pursue Strategic Marketing direction & Nurture Selected targets
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals

    • Basic salary: From 2000€ (depending on experience of candidate) + motivational variable component of wages (linked to results and achieved goals)
    • Remuneration package – the amount and setting of the reward will be specified and directed to the specific candidate on personal interview
    • Number of years of experience: +10 years in the same/similar position
    • +15 years in automotive industry
    • Personality requirements and skills: Engineering Graduate (MSc) with an Economical / Financial understanding (a MBA graduate a plus)
    • Min. 15 years’ experience in industrial type of product sales in a medium to large size company
    • 10+ years of senior sales management experience with clear career progression
    • Native Slovak/Czech and Fluent in English and another European Language a plus (German, French especially)
    • Demonstrated track record in growing profitable sales
    • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
    • Strong Team player
    • Demonstrated ability to create and grow strong performing sales organizations
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Excellent communicator, both internal and external
    • Strong talents as a mentor and coach able to improve team morale and productivity
    • Ability to be good ambassador for the company to the outside world but also a good political mover and shaker inside the company
    • Go-get type of character
    • MS Tools mastering is a must, especially MS Excel and Powerpoint
    • Travel to customers (also outside to Slovakia)
